Negotiating Learner Differences MOOC’s Updates

Discussion Forum: Optional Update #4: Educational rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) refers education as a fundamental human right. But it unable to define what education is? Why the authority offers to be educated? Who is said to be educated? People who know what other tells or people who can share his knowledge and wisdom? Is educated?

In my opinion, educational rights are such rights so that people can explore, and express their own set of knowledge to the wider community. It’s not like adopting others values and views because of the colonization of knowledge cultures and values.
