Causes of the Revolutionary War

The Proclamation of independance prohibitted the colonists to move west, however the colonists did not care which caused the british to get mad. The sugar act reduced taxes but prohibitted smuggling. Even tho taxes were lower, the colonists did not want to pay so continued to smuggle. The townshed act made it so people were unaware of paying taxes. This meant taxes were on items with higher prices. Colonists found out which led to boycott on british goods. These were causes of the war because each one of these led to one side getting angry.
