I believe the Boston Massacre had made them want to have independence more than any other event that occurred to them. I believe this because the British Government had allowed this soldiers to enter there land. They believed that if they were invaded of their privacy they were not recieving the basic rights as humans nthat they have.Another reason is because they had killed 5 of the colonist that had been residents, one person being Crispus Attucks. This had angered them because not only were they ther invading space but they were also causing uproar.

I believe the colonist would want to make "America" because they did not want to be part of the British Government. They believed that they would be able to live on thei own and that they could survive and thrive without the help of the British government. Another reason was the government itself, they had been taking advantage of the profit the colonies brought in and making them pay more taxes than before on basic needs.
