Zoi Sakki is a conservator-museologist. She graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (B.A. Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art) and from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (M.A. in Museum Studies). Currently she is studying for a PhD at the University of Athens and her subject is the establishment of a current documentation system appropriate for the collections of the Museum of Criminology. Her main research areas are the documentation and the processes that take place between documentation and interpretation, such as artifacts study and the establishment of values and meanings. After a five-year curatorial experience in Museum of Criminology, she is now collaborating with the Museum as a freelancer, while working in the Greek Ministry of Culture.
