  Dr. Yael Guilat is a Senior Lecturer in Art History and Visual Culture. She is the Head of the Program of Interdisciplinary Studies in Arts and Humanities at the Faculty of Advance Studies- Oranim Academic College and taught Israeli Art at Tel Aviv University. Her field of research on Israeli Art and Visual Culture includes gender and identities; memory and rituals in the public space; heritage studies and linguistic landscape, and art and crafts in terms of social activism.
