  Dr. Kim-Rupnow has been a teacher of students at all levels from elementary schools to colleges for over two decades. She is also a successful grant writer who has brought to the University nearly six million dollars through seven grant proposals that she co-authored. She has a record of successful relationships with funding organizations, especially with the U.S. Department of Education. She not only successfully implemented and completed several grant projects but was also successful in bringing in subsequent and related grant projects. For example, from being a coordinator of “ACE Reading,” she became a co-PI of two subsequent projects: Computer ACE Reading Phase I (development) and Phase II (research phase). She is now a PI (Principle Investigator) of the ACE Reading for English Language Learners Literacy: Professional Development Program. Less
