Wendy Francesconi is a graduate student at the School of Forest Resources and Conservation at the University of Florida, U.S.A., and holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Yale University, School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Her doctoral research is focused on evaluating different agricultural practices for their potential to increase functional connectivity, and on examining the dissemination of agroforestry practices among farmers in eastern Brazil. Wendy’s professional interests include the application of sustainable agricultural practices and the design of rural landscapes for biodiversity conservation purposes.
