Veerle Draulans took her PHD at the K.U.Leuven (Belgium). She is teaching as an assistant professor of ethics at the Department for Religious Studies, Tilburg University and at the faculty of Social Sciences in the masterprogram ‘Organisation of Cultural Diversity’. She is also associate professor of genderstudies at the Catholic University of Leuven. She coordinates the interfaculty course ‘genderstudies’ at the K.U.Leuven. Her research focuses on ‘gender and leadership’ and ‘gender and science’, and on ‘values and religion in Europe’. She is a member of the EVS-research team, ‘European Values Study-project’. She is a member of the Belgian Advisory Committee on Bio-ethics, the Scientific Board of Kadoc, Documentation and Research Center for Religion,Culture and Society (Leuven) and the Board of Governors of Emmaus (healthcare organisations).
The project 'Female Engineer' is part of her K.U.Leuven research.
