I have studied in Greece and the US in the field of Education of the Deaf and language development and work for the Department of Education in Greece.
I have served as the Scientific Director of the National Institution of the Deaf and Scientific Collaborator of: the Institute of Language and Speech Processing, the Hellenic Federation of the Deaf and the Center for the Study of Communication and the Deaf of Boston University.
I have 28 publications in Greek and foreign journals and books, 4 monographs and 55 presentations in Greek and foreigner congresses.
I have created 12 Educational Tools, in multimedia format, such as CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and Video, for the education and communication of the deaf and the hearing with the use of Greek Sign Language, from which the 7 as Scientific Director and the 5 as Scientific Collaborator.
I have participated in 9 European Programs, with regard to deafness, from which in the 6 as Scientific Director and the 3 as Scientific Collaborator.
My main research interest is in the education and the community of the Deaf and particularly the structure and use of Greek Sign Language.
