  Monja is a development management and public health specialist with over 15 years' experience in gender equality, older people and social protection programming. Prior to joining AIDS Information Centre-Uganda, he served as National MenEngage and Advocacy Coordinator at MenEngage Uganda/Mama's Club Uganda. He served at Uganda Reach the Aged Association and HelpAge International as a Social Protection and Advocacy Manager. He also worked at THETA Uganda as a Health Policy Advocacy Specialist and at Pathfinder International Uganda as a Business Development Manager. He is a member of the National Older People's Forum in Uganda. Monja holds a Master of Science in Development Management from Open University United Kingdom. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration from Uganda Christian University. Monja also holds a Master of Public Health - Health Promotion from Uganda Martyrs University.
