  Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, I discovered my critical approach to media when I came to Baltimore to study Interdisciplinary Sculpture and Culture & Politics at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Believing that there is endless research to conduct about Turkey as a nodal point in a variety of both current and historical discourses, I continued my academic path at the Pratt Insititute, where I am currently pursuing my Mater's degree in Media Studies.
