    Dr. Tresidder is also on the Board of Directors for Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels, and the chair of their Advocacy and Medical Integration Committee. Prior to teaching at Eastern she was an adjunct instructor for the Oregon Masters of Public Health program, where she taught graduate level classes for students at Portland State and Oregon Health and Science University for ten years. Her dissertation study examined the institutional context needed to support and legitimize team-based practice for the elderly. She worked intensively with Programs for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE), and Medicaid and Medicare representatives in data collection. Dr. Foucek Tresidder also worked with the Layton Aging and Alzheimer's Center at Oregon Health and Science University, from 2004-2009. Her primary teaching tasks were to teach 4th year medical students about the societal, financial and personal costs of Alzheimer’s disease to individuals and families.
