Italian scholar of dialogue among cultures and disciplines, with a combined background in the natural sciences (Biologist, PhD Biochemistry), in the social and the human sciences (PhD Humanistic Intercultural Studies). Working experience in communication of environment and health (Milan, 2000-2006) and in social communication (Rome, 2006-2008). Since 2007, she has been teaching communication of scientific research at the invitation of universities and research institutes of Italy and abroad. Since 2008, she has been teaching dialogue among cultures at the invitation of Italian universities. In addition to Italian (native language), she knows English at an advanced level. Since 2009, she has been member of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue, a network of scholars drawn from different cultures and disciplinary fields involved in intercultural dialogue. She has written a number of papers, chapters and online notes which are available on the Center for Intercultural Dialogue website.

This is my second PhD, which I earned after my previous one, in 2000, in biochemistry at the University of Milan. Therefore, the first dialogue among, across and beyond disciplinary fields, actually, starts with myself.
