The author is an assistant professor of law at Heriot Watt University. She holds two Bachelors and a Master degree in law, and she research in regulatory compliance issue at the PhD level. She is a member of several women rights activism NGO that advocate protection and justice for women, children and other vulnerable groups. The author is a principle investigator in a project funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund. The project investigates the impact of climate change on vulnerable groups, need analysis, humanitarian aids and rights issue. She is also a co-investigator in a seperate project sponsored by the same grant, that investigates the use of PCM materials to reduce heat wave in tropical countries.Her role in this research is to propose public policy to incorporate heat resistence materials in public facilities, especially in areas populated by grassroot and rural civilian.
Less
