I am a curious, adventurous community development practitioner who has spent the majority of my adult life working and learning alongisde international communities. My work challenges norms surrounding mission work, community development, and the global orphan crisis. I have over 10 years experience working with and living amognst indigenous communities. In this time, I have helped nationals and internationals find their purpose and passion in the development world. I have helped to start a variety of development iniatives with a successful follow-through rate. My most recent journey has taken me to partner with Haitian communities I have known for nearly a decade through the formation of my non-profit, Konbit Haiti. As a woman in leadership, I believe we must learn to listen from the communities we seek to help. I have learned so much through my work with Haitian communities the last 8 years. I enjoy writing, spending time with the people I love, and a good cup of coffee.
