She works at the intersection of new religious movements, gender and sexuality, and sociology/anthropology. Her courses include Media and Religion, Sociology of Religion, Religion in America, and Religion and Ethnography. She has published in Theology & Sexuality and The Pomegranate: Journal of Pagan Studies. She has an article in press for Nova Religio.
