    The docotral research is focused in the area of material culture studies and it aims to understand intertwining relationships between things and people. The main focus of the research is footwear in everyday life. The research evolves around understanding how things make paople and vice versa and it looks at those relationships through the prism of modern consumption practices. The study program is carried out within the interdisciplinary doctoral programme in the humanities and social science.
