  I am an Associate Professor of English at Manhattan College where I have been teaching for the last 19 years. My Ph.D. is in early modern women poets with a speciality in Aphra Behn (1640-1689). I am the former Chair of the English department and Co-Coordinatory of the Ambassador Program for the New American Colleges and Universities (NAC&U). I have published on both Aphra Behn and Elizabeth Singer Rowe as well as articles that center on pedagogical practices in literature.
