  Aasne Daniels has been a theatre practitioner since childhood. She worked in the audiobook industry and as a certified yoga instructor before joining the faculty of Illinois College in 2013. Mentoring young people has become a passion for her, and she devotes hours each year to working with the regional and state Poetry Out Loud Competition for high school students, as well as teaching acting or yoga for the Springfield Ballet Comapny and Springfield Youth Performance Group in Springfield, IL.
