Crisis as Moral Oportunity

This is the scheme of my paper at the conference, with the exposition recorded in audio. "Crisis" and "Critical sense" have the same ethimologycal root. Departing from this fact, and following Bauman's thought, I argue that crisis is the natural state of culture and morality, because the have to search what is permanent. It purports also a sense of insecurity, due to the ambivalence of human freedom, which is also the natural state of morality. Departing from this, I argue too that the sense of insecurity generated by the current crisis can be an opportunity to increase our critical sense towards the injust aspects of our culture, to better understand people suffering the consequences of this way of life, and then, to start building a world more hospitable to humanity and to morality
