1a. 10 Stratas

1b.i.Less cluster, less cost
 ii.Smaller sample size

Disadvantages of having 1 strata

i. It gives us a low precision
ii. It cannot really be used to estimate coverage

Advantages of having 10 strata

It gives us a high precision
It helps us to get more clusters for comparison

Disadvantages of having 10 strata

The more clusters the more the funds to be used

Precision not as high as having strata 100

Advantages of having strata 100

It is useful in estimating coverage
It has highest precision

Disadvantages of having strata 100

Having more clusters leads to more cost
Having more clusters leads to a larger sample size

2. Total completed interviews needed if we design a survey with:

a. 0.05 precision= 10481

b. 0.08 precision= 4645

c. 0.03 precision= 26282

3a. Household based records

Facility based records

3b. The table relates to potential selection bias because the data to be gotten and used can easily be bias if the field worker is using unrealistic target population, also if the field worker is doing a convenient sampling and lastly if the field worker use a wrong confidence interval

The cautions are to use a realistic target population, use of random sampling technique and use of right and adequate confidence interval

4Aa. documented evidence of vaccination

The date of birth on the vaccination card
Sighting of the vaccination card
Evidence of the card
The date pentavalent vaccination was received on card

4b. by recall

Has the child received any vaccine?
Has the child received any injection?
Has the child received any injection in the right upper arm?
At what age did you take the child to the health facility to get the vaccination?

4c. by documented evidence of vaccination + recall

Do you have your vaccination card with you(RI evidence)?
At what month did you take your child to the health facility for vaccination?
Can you remember the vaccination your child took at that particular month?
Can you remember which part of the body the child took the vaccine?
Can you remember the doctor who gave the vaccination?

4BThe coverage was under estimated or over estimated.
