Degree in Economics (2005) and MBA (2008) at University of Havana. Master in Integral Development of Tourism Desatinations (2012) and Phd in Economy, Enterprise and Tourism (2017) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). She is Research Associate at Tides-University Institute of Tourism and European Projects Manager at ULPGC. During the last five years she has been author of 15 publications (books, chapters and articles), and participated in more than 10 international congresses. She has also participated in more than 12 European RDI funded projects (mainly H2020, Interreg, Erasmus programmes). She has participated in the Integral Development Strategy of the Old Havana and also collaborated with other cooperation initiatives and capacity building programmes for the United Nations (UNDP, UNESCO). She is also external expert for projects evaluation for the European Commision and peer reviewer in four scientific journals. Her main research areas of interest are Coastal and Maritime Tourism, Consumer Behaviour Modelling, Climate Change, Sustainable Tourism, Small Islands States.
