Emanuel Grant received a B.Sc. from the University of the West Indies, a MCS from the Florida Atlantic University, and a Ph.D. from the Clolrado State University, all in the discipline of Computer Science.Since August 2008 to May 2017 he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and since July 2017 to present is has retained that position in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of North Dakota, where he started his academic career as an Assistant Professor. His research interests are in the areas of software development, formal specification techniques, domain-specific modeling languages, and software engineering education. He is an adjunct professor at the Holy Angel University in the Philippines.
