  I am a PhD Candidate in the Sociology at the University of California Berkeley. My research interests are at the intersection of immigration and inequality. I have also done work on immigrant health; my MA focuses on the gendered relations and food decisions among Mexican immigrant couples. For my dissertation, I focus on wealth-building among Mexican immigrant families and the intersection of immigrant generation and legal status.
