My research focuses on extrapolating the role of the author through the design of a complex narrative. My practice-based research is concerned with the design of a virtual reality experience that enables the user to engage in a complex, indeterminate narrative system. I have used cybernetics, systems theory and complexity sciences to frame my practice and the reflective practice methdology A/r/tography to assist deliver my findings. Additionally, my other projects include Global Rivers of VR, Thesaura and the Magical Notebook (AR) and Gods of Suburbia (a multilinear narrative delivered via AR).
