Chothibul Umam is one of the English faculty members at the State Islamic Institute of Kediri (IAIN Kediri), Indonesia. He earned his BA in English Language Education from the State College of Islamic Studies (STAIN Kediri), Indonesia. His Master of Education was obtained from the State University of Malang, Indonesia. His research topic of interest includes Teacher Professional Development, English Morphology, Sociolinguistics, Extensive Reading, and English language Teaching. Currently, he is taking a PhD degree at Western Sydney University, Australia. He also serves as one of the editorial boards of JEELS (Journal of English Education and Linguistics Studies).
