  Professor Kai Lehikoinen leads CERADA Center for Educational Research and Academic Development in the Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland. He is also Vice-Director of the ArtsEqual Research Initiative and Team Leader for the research group Arts, Welfare, Health and Care. Professor Lehikoinen's academic work includes publications on dance analysis, competence analysis and curriculum developmenr in artistic boundary work, and discourses of well-being in the service activities of third sector organisations in the arts, culture, sport and youth work. His recent publications include a research articles on the arts in elderly care, two co-edited anthologies - one on training artists for innovation, the other on artists as developers in organisations - and a textbook on approaches to dance analysis. He is currently a member of two national task forces in Finland: one on arts and artist policy, the oher on arts and culture for health and well-being.
