  Joyce Terumbur Dankaro, PhD, was born 56 years ago at Tsar, Mbaduku in Nigeria. She has attended primary, secondary and tertiary levels of her education in Nigeria. She is the fifth out of 8 children borne to her late parents Othniel Korshima and Tabitha Mbanumbu Korshima Agera. Married to Isaac Terzungwe Dankaro, PhD, they have four children and a grandchild. Joyce has published in local and international journals, her research interests being in Tiv language reading education, English language education, ICT in language education among other research interests. She is a chief lecturer in the department of Tiv Language Studies and as well, the head of the department. Her hobbies include reading Christian literature and others, gardenning and walking.
