I am a Teaching Fellow at Humboldt University Berlin. The focus of my work is on the urban landscape, especially, but not only, museums and memorials in and around Berlin. In this context, locations are approached as field sites that can be read, explored, and crtically analyzed as dynamic sites that reflect and reframe key aspects of history and culture. I am most interested in issues of interrelgious and intercultural significance. I have been living and working in Berlin, Germany since 2001. I completed my PhD in 2013 at the Institute of European Ethnology, Humboldt University, Berlin. I was born and raised in Canada, where I earned a BA (Hon) from the University of Toronto in 1999 and a Master's of Museum Students (from the same university) in 2001.
