I teach courses at the  University of Miami School of Law in "Policing the Police," "Law & the Media," and "Employment Discrimination." I am a consultant for a research project with the University of Cambridge on the use of police body cameras by the City of Miami Beach where I was formerly Chief Deputy City Attorney. I am also a board certified specialist attorney in Miami, Florida. I was a visiting  scholar at the University of Cambridge Institute of Criminology, summer 2018. I have presented in Budapest, Hungary; Tilburg, the Netherlands; Leipzig, Germany; San Diego, CA, at the Association of American Law Schools Conference; and a paper enttiled "Who Will Guard the Guards? Policing the Police After Ferguson" at the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago, IL.
