  I regularly write on art, culture, and politics in the MENAT region. My interests lie in the intersection of art, politics, and digital dissemination. I received my MSc from the London School of Economics in Comparative Politics. My research and academic work was in post-conflict studies, specializing in post-colonial states. I am currently pursing a MA degree in Art and Cultural Enterprise at Central Saint Martins. I am especially interested in increasing access for traditionally marginalized groups in the creative sector as well as exploring ways to provide sustainable business solutions for creative initiatives for minorities. I have continuing research interests in the integration of creative expression into community based participatory process, diaspora identities, and the ramifications of cultural appropriation in popular culture.
