Catalina is a PhD researcher in the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries at King's College London. Her current research analyses the representation of cultural diversity in Chilean art museums, specifically in the area of collections and focused on the museum practice. Catalina is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy at King's. Her previous research has explored discussions around gender in Chilean and Latin American contemporary art, and the use of digital media in art museums. She has also worked as writer and editor in art magazines in Chile, and as teaching assistant in the Universidad de Chile. She was a co-author of the book "Art, city and the public sphere in Chile" (2015, Metales Pesados).
