  I am Head of the School of Languages, Law and Social Sciences at the Dublin Institute of Technology having worked in higher education for over 25 years. My interests are in education, pedagogy, emerging technologies to support better teaching and learning. I previously was a lecturer in French language and translation and was awarded Chevalier des Palmes Académiques by the French government for my work in promoting the teaching of French and establishing collaborative links between France and Ireland.
