  I hold a BA in Journalism at the Faculty of Social Communication Cásper Líbero, Brazil, and a BA in Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. I also hold a MA and a PhD in Culture and Communbication at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Currently I'm an assistant professor of Media Language, Theories of Communication and Sociology of Communication at the School of Arts and Humanities (University of Lisbon). My research interests focus on Identity, Nationalism, Culture Studies, Media and Communication, and Critical Discourse Studies.
