My role is as technical officer for Polio and routine immunization for northern Syria while I am working from Gaziantep Hub in Turkey less than 100 km away from Syrian border. Major challenges include non-availability of government run routine immunization centers because of war , no health budgets and dangerous security situation. Humanitarian operations aregoing on through Gaziantep hub including immunization campaigns against polio and routine immunization. Monitoring and supervision of activities are near to impossible . In this constraint situation I am working with my immunization team of WHO and humanitarian partners for service delivery.
