  Currently an M.A. Candidate in Museum and Exhibition Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University's contemporary art gallery, my interests center around arts education, access, and the power that museums have to unlock creative development in minoritized youth. I spent the past few years working in early education as an arts curriculum specialist at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in California, the institution that opened my eyes to the need for museums to serve complementary to schools as educational advocates that reach a broader swath of the public. Additionally, I have held positions in audience engagement at the Oakland Museum of California, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History.
