Personal History

I have:

Master’s degree in Public Health;

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and PHN Nursing;
Advanced Diploma in development Education Leadership and Team in Action (DELTA)
Advanced certificates and specialized training in Pedagogy, Health Systems Research, and Health Care in Developing countries, Family planning and Certificate in Computer Software Applications.
Certificates of Basic vaccinoly training, masters training course on vaccinolgy in Africa, Improve Quality of Care through Operational Research; National Health Policies, Strategies and Plan; International communication; Education and Management and Mid-Level Managers Training courses.

Since, then I have worked in different governmental and non-governmental organization as Clinician, Public Health Instructor, Head of Academic Programs, Researcher, Consultant, Project Officer, Program Manager, School Director, Program Coordinator, Supervisor and Community Development worker.

From 2011 up-to now, I am working with WHO, Eritrea on fixed term contract bases under the direct supervision of the WHO Representative in the Country:

Provide Technical assistance to the Ministry of Health in the planning implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EPI and surveillance of vaccine preventable diseases.

Contribute to the training of Health Personnel, at all levels of the Health System, in EPI and Disease Surveillance.
Provide technical support to the Ministry of Health to establish/maintains and monitoring systems for EPI and surveillance activities.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly semiannual and annual reports.
Promote surveys and operational research on various aspects of the EPI and surveillance.

I am highly motivated and believe my educational background and vast experience with Control of Communicable and non-communicable Diseases will suitably qualify me to join the training course.
