The selected Transformative investment is;

Develop an information system where you identify and find each person’s vaccination status to improve the routine coverage.

A) Detect and reach the unreached.
B) Design services to reach all equitably.
C) Build capacity of vaccinators and managers.
D) Ensure vaccine quality and availability.
E) Create synergy with special vaccination efforts.
F) Integrate immunization services synergy.
G) Engage communities and create demand.
H) Secure political commitment and partnerships.
I) Monitor program performance& disease occurrence.

The three strategies which will be prioritized are;

Strategy 1) Detect & Reach the unreached: Conduct detail survey to identify and line list all beneficiaries along with vaccination details also keep record of maternity homes in terms of date of birth and upcoming vaccination schedule also inform persons about vaccination via SMS also generate ID numbers to people in which they can access their vaccination detail also keep and monitor the mobile population through electronic data management.

Strategy 2) Design services to reach all equitably: Conduct vaccination session according to organized tour plan and intimate the concern person prior via SMS to cover the whole concern population also keep the record of due defaulters while immunization session and try to access them with the community participation and also plan catchup for defaulters.

Strategy 3) Ensure vaccine quality and availability: Proper logistic management system must be developed daily record must be maintained in term of issue and return on Daily basis also provide batch no and opening time and date of vials on system and also very help full to calculate wastage and analyzing the data to generate reports and the head office can easily approach regarding consumption of vaccination.


Justification:-

Open and real time data about vaccination of Punjab. Punjab expanded program employs around 3700 vaccinators and they go door to door to vaccinate children, E vaccs project also developed by PITB in collaboration with EPI automated the whole process ensuring attendance in field and increasing geographical coverage of vaccination. The program has been a huge success and been acknowledged at various levels.

The pilot program of Har Zindagi is currently being tested in the districts of Sahiwal and Sheikhupura in Punjab. If the results of the pilot are favour able, they will be scaled up to more districts in the province and eventually throughout the country.

Electronic immunization registries must been defined as confidential, computerized, population based systems the collect and consolidate vaccination data from vaccination provider for better immunization this may facilitate in several prospective to improve the routine immunization.
