  Dr. Ashley Wellman is an instructor at Texas Christian University in the Department of Criminal Justice. She received her PhD in Criminology Law and Society from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on the lived experiences of families impacted by homicide and other forms of violent victimization. She has served as an international keynote speaker and aided the media and other professionals on issues surrounding cold case homicide survivors.
