Nuria was born in 1985 in Barcelona (Spain). She received the B.S. and M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2008 and 2010, respectively, the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering in 2009 and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Techonologies in 2014 from University of Granada (Granada, Spain). She was working as assistant Professor at the Carlos III University of Madrir for 3 years. Currently she is working as researcher in University of Granada. Her current research interests include the study of colorimetric and optical sensors for environmental and physiological measurements, as well as the development of portable instrumentation and the smartphone applications associated to those systems.
