Sara O'Neill is an early career secondary Arts specialist teacher who is the Coordinator for Visual Arts P-12 at Holy Cross College in Perth, Western Australia. She is a member of her school Leadership Team and one of four House Coordinators who provide pastoral leadership in the college community (each supporting approximately 30 staff and 250 students P-12). As the inaugural art teacher at her College, Sara developed all of the Art Programs and enrichment activities offered at the school, one of which is participation in the Curtin Artist in Residence (AiR) program. During her final semester of pre-service teacher education in 2012, Sara was a teaching-artist (AiR) in the Curtin Artist in Residence program. After completing her B.A/B.Ed (Creative Arts) Double Degree, Sara continued her invovlement in the AiR Program as a Project Teacher-Host and she is now an advocate for the inclusion of teaching-artists as enrichment facilitators in school Art Eduction programs.
