Would you be interested in getting an essay published in such a book? Your essay need not go into the theory. I'll cover that in an introductory essay. Simply analyze the outsider's progress in the previously described novel within Bennett's developmental model, moving through his six stages: denial, defense, minimization, acceptance, adaptation, and integration. Your essays would be similar to these except for the grounding of Bennett's developmental model. You would simply track the progress of a character thorugh those six stages.
