  She graduated from the department of Early Childhood Education (TEAPI) at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. She received her Master of Education in Special Education from the post-graduate Program "Education and Human Rights" at the University of Athens. She is PhD candidate to Special Education at the University of Western Macedonia. She is Proficient in Greek Sign Language (GSL) since 2005 and from 2008 until now she has been working in the Kindergarten for the Deaf of Argyroupolis, the last 5 years as a Administrator. In 2008-2010 she worked as a special educator for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children ( age 0-4) at Early Intervention Program of National Institute For Deaf in Athens. In 2010 she published special teaching material for developing readiness and learning GSL for preschool and grades A and B respectively in cooperation with the Institute of Education Policy. She has participated in many national Cnferences. Her research interests include teaching Sign Lnguage as a first language in preschool children, as well as teaching literacy skills in Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
