  Dr.Ozkan Yazgan has been on the faculty of the Department of Architecture at Gazi University in Turkey since 2003. During this time, she has been involved in variety of conservation and restorarion projects. She conducted research on industrial heritage in the South Chicago area while at Penn State University as a post-doctoral researcher between August 2012-January 2013. Her research interests include;industrial heritage, adaptive reuse of architectural heritage and design in hidtoric environment.
