Maria Raiza Morales is currently attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa for a Master's Degree in Social Work. Her interest in working with the older adult population led to an introduction to Project Dana as an undergraduate practicum student. She continued on to become the Caregiver Support Group Coordinator after graduating with a Social Work Bachelor's Degree in 2015. Her work with family caregivers in Project Dana proved that there is an increasing need on long-term support services for older adults and their family. This became a motivation to pursue a Master's Degree, so she can increase her knowledge and skills needed in supporting the aging population in Hawaii.
