I am a postgraduated in English Studies of the University of Murcia, Spain. After having taught English to both teens and adults for 4 years I realised that their learning difficulties stemmed from the way they had been taught the language when they were kids. That was what instigated me to study the Grade in Primary Teaching; to be there in the moment when the students of a foreign language start having unsolved cognitive conflicts which does not allow them to go further and therefore make these students develop a sense of disinterest towards the language. The abstract I have sent is from the pedagogical proposal I wrote for my dissertation for Primary Teaching. Based on my experience as a secondary and primary teacher I must state my strong believe in the fact that active methodologies and above all, the use of body language and gestures have a high degree of success when teaching a foreign language. Thus, I would love to share my reasonings and my experience with you. My entire paper is in Spanish but the presentation for the video conferencing and any other documents for the congress would be, of course, in English. Thank you.
