I have over 10 years of international experience in private, public, nonprofit and academic organizations. Over the last 5 years, I have been engaged in developing projects and organizations to address social problems, leveraging on my diverse professional experience. Currently I am leading Suabrta Trust as its CEO, and transforming this traditional nonprofit organization to a sustainable and innovative one. My role with Suabrta is to bring systemic change in the sector of elderly care, and build a professional care management system in the industry. In addition, I am co-foudner of the Caregiver Institute Bangladesh which is bringing ultra-poor vulnerable individuals from rural Bangladesh to be trained as professional caregivers in partnership with the University of Alabama. While creating a new service industry through caregiving in Bangladesh, this also creates a new prospect where these individuals can serve huge vacuum of caregivers in countries such as Germany and Japan. Prior to joining Subarta, I have served as the Country Director of Ashoka Innovators for the Public. I have also launched Well-being Capital, an comprehensive innovation platform which brings social entrepreneurs providing low cost products and services for the working class population in Dhaka city. I have graduate with a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore prior to pursuing certification in Public Policy & Economics from University of Oxford. I have been involved with community service, and social entrepreneurship from an young age of 12 where I had helped UNICEF Germany raise donations by engaging high school students through various cultural and social programs.
