Trevor B. Williams originates from Washington State. His interest in religion began when he was in middle school after discovering an unused Bible in his family bookshelf. Despite this early interest, he did not get involved in any community of faith until his junior year of high school. After high school, Williams moved to California to pursue a B.A. in Biblical Studies at Hope International University. It was during his time as an undergraduate that he grew a profound interest in the Hebrew Bible and texts of the Hellenistic period. Other academic pursuits that Williams is interested in include virtue ethics, apocalypticism, and mortality as it relates to faith. Williams finished undergraduate studies in May 2014 and is currently a graduate student in the Religion Division at Pepperdine University. Besides his life in graduate school, Williams spends his time in Pepperdine’s Convocation Office and watching bad horror movies.
