Tina Cockburn is a Senior Lecturer in law at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. Prior to joining the faculty, she practised as a solicitor with Feez Ruthning (now Allen, Allen and Hemsley) for several years after admission in the areas of commercial property, trusts and estate law.
Tina has over ten years experience researching and teaching in the areas of Torts, Equity and Trusts. She currently lectures postgraduate students in the areas of Tort Law and Equity, and coordinates and lectures the undergraduate law subjects Equity and Trusts. She has previously taught in the undergraduate Torts unit.
Tina has research interests in Equity, Trusts, Tort Law, Health Law, Elder Law, Succession Law, and Legal Education and has published numerous articles, book chapters and several books relating to various aspects of these areas of research interest.
Tina regularly presents papers to the profession and academy relating to her areas of research interest.
