...MoreTim is in his 35th year in collegiate athletics and 20th with the Virginia Commonwealth University athletic department. He is responsible for scheduling/booking over 400 events and meetings per year and all facility operations at the Siegel Center, Sports Backers Stadium, Thalhimer Tennis Center, Sports Medicine Center, and the Franklin Street Athletic Complex. He is responsible for representing the athletic department in the design and construction of athletic facilities to include the Siegel Center, Sports Medicine Center, and Basketball Development Center as well as major and minor renovation projects.He has a wealth of experience working with NBA and NFL teams and events such as the 1994 World Cup friendly match between the USA and Mexico, the Harlem Globetrotters, 1994 World Gymnastics Tour, and many NCAA events to include serving as tournament director for the 1991 NCAA Volleyball National Championships and 1992 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics National Championships. He has also contracted and conducted large scale concert events such as the Rolling Stones, Matalica, Georg Strait, and many more.
